Police on Tuesday arrested a 27-year-old man for allegedly assaulting and threatening a 22-year-old woman over a period of days in Kaneohe and Pearl City.

The man who has no local address allegedly assaulted and threatened the woman with dangerous instruments and held her against her will from April 26 to April 28, police said.

Police found and arrested the man Tuesday on suspicion of second-degree assault, kidnapping, abuse of a family member and first-degree terroristic threatening.
