Three former University of Hawaii football players will be going to National Football League rookie camps this coming week.

Linebacker Brenden Daley agreed to a free-agent contract with the Atlanta Falcons. He will sign a standard three-year deal in which only his $1,000 signing bonus will be guaranteed. Daley said he has been told he will compete at inside linebacker. He joined the Rainbow Warriors in 2011 after transferring from Ventura College.

Tavita Woodard, a hybrid outside linebacker/rush end has accepted an invitation to participate in the Seattle Seahawks’ rookie camp. He could earn a contract if he does well this week.

Charles Clay, who played safety and nickelback for the Rainbow Warriors, received a rookie-camp invitation from the Green Bay Packers.  Clay was impressive during UH’s pro day in March.
