A day earlier, Garcia drove in the winning run against the Cubs when he was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded in the 12th inning.
» Los Angeles reliever Brandon League (Saint Louis) has not allowed an earned run since April 15, a span of 18 innings. His ERA has dropped from 5.79 to 1.59 in that time.
