A Honolulu police officer blocks traffic on Moanalua Road in Aiea as crews repair downed power lines Saturday morning.

Moanalua Road in Aiea is reopened after a car crashed into a power line pole early Saturday morning, causing the lane closures and cutting off electricity to one customer, HECO officials said.

The pole was repaired at 12:20 p.m. and power has been restored to the affected customer, officials said.

Police closed Moanalua Road between Pali Momi and Honomanu streets but later reopened it around 8:43 a.m. The lanes were contraflowed for crews to work to replace the pole.

The Honolulu police traffic incidents website reports an accident at about 3 a.m. in the area. There was no information on any injuries.
