Tours to Arizona Memorial resume after dock repairs
Shuttle tours to the USS Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor resumed on Tuesday after workers made necessary repairs to a loading dock.
Boat trips from the visitor center in Pearl Harbor were canceled on Monday until water could be pumped out of the chambers that are used as docks, said Paul DePrey, superintendent of the WWII Valor in the Pacific National Monument at Pearl Harbor.
Tours resumed at 8 a.m. on Tuesday at the state’s top visitor destination.
The dock was built four years ago as part of the new visitors’ center.
