Police looking for gunman in Niu Valley 7-Eleven robbery

Another 7-Eleven convenience store was robbed Tuesday night.

Police said a man entered the store on Halemaumau Street in Niu Valley around 8:40 p.m., pointed a handgun at the cashier and demanded money.

Last week a robber was foiled when he tried to hold up a 7-Eleven on Waialae Avenue at gun point.

The cashier ran out of the store and the man left without any cash during the June 13 incident.

Other robberies at 7-Eleven stores recently include: 

>>May 10, the 7-Eleven in Kaimuki at Waialae Avenue and Sierra Drive was held up by a man brandishing a dangerous weapon.

>> March 28, just after 1 a.m. a man entered a store near Farrington Highway and Leokane Street and demanded money from the cashier.

>>March 27, a man robbed the 7-Eleven at Nimitz Highway and Kalihi Street.
