Time changed for UH football opener
Kickoff for the University of Hawaii football team’s season opening game against Washington on Aug. 30 at Aloha Stadium has been moved to 4:30 p.m., the Mountain West Conference announced on Thursday.
The game, which will be televised on CBS Sports Network, was originally scheduled for 2 p.m. The game will now be part of an MWC doubleheader on CBS Sports Network, which picked up San Diego State’s game against Northern Arizona with UH-Washington to follow.
UH is scheduled to make three appearances on CBS Sports Network this season. The network will also air the Rainbow Warriors’ home game against Oregon State on Sept. 6, also set for 4:30 p.m, and their road game at San Diego State on Oct. 18. Game times for the remainder of the schedule have yet to be announced.
