The Board of Water Supply is repairing an 8-inch water main break at 87-561 Farrington Highway between St. Johns Road and Manuulaula Street.

The water main break was initially reported at 4:05 a.m. and initially closed a lane of traffic. The lane reopened by about 5:30 a.m.

Because the broken water main is about 25 feet off of Farrington Highway, repairs are not expected to result in any lane closures.

One customer is without water service and a water wagon was sent to the scene.
