Tropical Storm Rammasun is on a path to make landfall on the main island of Luzon in the Philippines on Tuesday.

The storm strengthened back to a tropical storm early Sunday after briefly weakening to a tropical depression.

The storm is packing sustained winds of 40 mph and is expected to slowly intensify.

What was Tropical Depression 09W first became a tropical storm Friday afternoon. It passed Guam, but brought only a little rain.
