BEAUTY SPOT
Jade incorporated in facial treatment
Jade rollers were an essential accessory of Chinese emperors and empresses. These beauty tools have been found in the tombs of Chinese royals and are displayed in the emperor’s bedroom in China’s Forbidden City. When rolled over the face, the coolness of the jade helps close pores, while the pressure helps promote blood circulation, reduce puffiness and tone facial muscles.
Ho’ala Salon and Spa is incorporating these stone rollers in a new treatments, the Dual Exfoliation Facial. The 60-minute facial is $140.
Ho’ala Salon and Spa is at Ala Moana Center, third floor, next to Neiman Marcus. Call 947-6141.
