    Honolulu police investigate a hit-and-run accident early Tuesday morning on Farrington Highway in Waianae.

Police arrested a 47-woman in connection with a hit-and-run accident that killed a 58-year-old pedestrian near the Waianae Taco Bell early Tuesday morning.

Police said the 58-year-old man was found lying on Farrington Highway near Kaupuni Street at about 12:45 a.m. He died at the Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center, where he was taken in extremely critical condition.

Police said they believe the woman, driving a Nissan truck, fled the scene. Officers located and arrested her nearby at the Waianae Boat Harbor on suspicion of fleeing the scene of an accident.
