South Korean tourist dies off Kaanapali Beach
A 31-year-old visitor from South Korea died Sunday afternoon after he was found motionless in waters off Kaanapali Beach.
Maui police identified him as Woonsaek Baek.
Witnesses saw Baek in the water and brought him to shore. First responders performed CPR but were unable to revive him.
The cause of death has not been determined pending an autopsy.
