The Kamehameha girls volleyball team swept Mira Costa (Calif.) 25-11, 25-15 to take fifth place at the Durango Fall Classic in Las Vegas on Saturday.
Mira Costa lost 27-25, 27-25 to Punahou in the Ann Kang Invitational championship earlier in the season.
The Warriors beat Arizona state champion Xavier 22-25, 25-17, 25-12 to reach the championship bracket but fell to Redondo Union 25-18, 25-19 in the first round before battling back to take fifth.
The Warriors return home to host Sacred Hearts on Tuesday before visiting Punahou on Thursday.
Kamehameha finished second to Torrey Pines (Calif.) in the elite tournament last year.
Assumption won the tournament championship over Archbishop Mitty.
