Maui fire rescue personnel assisted a 25-year-old visitor from Germany who was injured after falling some 30 feet from a waterfall at the Bamboo Forest on Friday.
The incident was reported just before 4 p.m.
The man suffered injuries to his chin, jaw and elbow. He was airlifted to a secured landing zone, transferred to the care of Maui Medevac and flown to Maui Memorial Medical Center in stable condition.
