The National Weather Service in Honolulu has canceled a flash flood warning for Oahu.

Rain gauges and radar estimates had indicated rainfall rates of over 4 inches per hour in the Mililani town area.

On Tuesday, the weather service issued several flood advisories or flash flood warnings for Lanai, Kauai and Oahu as heavy rain and thunderstorms pounded those islands in the afternoon and evening.
