Homeless man arrested for allegedly threatening woman on bus

Police arrested a 52-year-old homeless man who allegedly threatened a 44-year-old woman on a city bus Tuesday afternoon.

Police said the two were passengers on a bus in Haleiwa when the man, for unknown reasons, threatened the woman with a dangerous instrument at 3:05 p.m.

Police responded to the scene and found the man on foot at Kamehameha Highway and Joseph P. Leong Highway and arrested him at 3:53 p.m. on suspicion of first-degree terroristic threatening.
