Honolulu is the favorite beach getaway destination and ranks high in other categories in the 2014 "America’s Favorite Cities" report in Travel + Leisure magazine.
Honolulu also ranked second in the U.S. for weather (behind San Diego), second for a romantic escape (behind Charleston, S.C.), third for an adventure vacation (behind Salt Lake City and Albuquerque, N.M.) and fourth for a spa vacation (behind San Diego, Miami and Los Angeles).
Honolulu ranked as the19th-best cityfor coffee in theU.S., with the T+Lwrite-up online mentioning Hawaii’s Kona coffee crop, Glazer’s Coffee in Moiliili, Green World Farms in Wahiawa and Morning Glass Coffee locations inManoa and Kakaako. Honolulu is not among the top five cities for people-watching, nor is it among the top five for athletic or active people, friendly, attractive, or intelligent people.
