No charges in bus threat case
Prosectors declined to charge a 52-year-old homeless man who allegedly threatened a 44-year-old woman on a city bus Tuesday.
Police said the man allegedly threatened the woman passenger on a bus in Haleiwa with a dangerous instrument at 3:50 p.m. Tuesday.
Responding officers found the man on foot at Kamehameha Highway and Joseph P. Leong Highway and arrested him at 3:53 p.m. on suspicion of first-degree terroristic threatening.
