Road trips to Pepperdine and Arizona and the Houston College Classic highlight the 2015 Hawaii baseball schedule.

Hawaii will travel to Houston to play in a nonconference tournament in early March at Minute Maid Park, home of the Houston Astros.

UH will face Nebraska, Baylor and Houston over a three-day stretch.

The tournament comes on the back end of a two-week road trip that begins with four games at Pepperdine.

Hawaii plays 22 of its 53 games against NCAA tournament teams from a year ago with 15 of those either on the road or at neutral sites.

"The thing that stands out is not only are we playing the normal high-profile teams in conference but just to keep the schedule as challenging as we wanted, it meant we had to go on the road a couple of weekends when we would normally stay home," Hawaii coach Mike Trapasso said.

Hawaii opens with Oregon for the fifth consecutive year before hosting Hofstra for a five-game series that ends with a Saturday doubleheader.

After the two-week road trip, Hawaii returns to Les Murakami Stadium to host Oklahoma and former WAC rival New Mexico State before opening Big West play against defending champion UC Irvine on the road on March 27.
