Police arrested a 49-year-old man who allegedly kidnapped a 46-year-old woman after hitting and threatening her in Kalihi Thursday morning.
Police said the man, who has no local address, and the woman were arguing when the man hit the woman at 8:55 a.m. Thursday. He then allegedly threatened her with a dangerous instrument and forced her to return to the Kalihi home where he kept her from leaving.
Police were summoned, and they arrested the man on suspicion of kidnapping, first-degree terroristic threatening and abuse of a family member.
