The state Senate Judiciary Committee on Monday started confirmation hearings on three judicial appointments.

The committee is reviewing the appointments of attorney Jeffrey P. Crabtree and District Family Court Judge Christine E. Kuriyama to the Oahu Circuit Court bench, and Margaret K. Masunaga, Hawaii County deputy corporation counsel, as a district judge for Hawaii island.

The Judiciary Committee will hold decision making on the confirmation and consideration of the appointees at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Room 016 of the state Capitol.

At 11 a.m. Thursday, the full Senate will reconvene to vote on the recommendations made by the Judiciary Committee.
