Police arrested a 37-year-old homeless man Wednesday for allegedly kidnapping a 30-year-old woman in Waianae in June.
The woman told police the man entered her vehicle about 7:30 p.m. June 15 without her permission and held her against her will, police said.
The woman said the man also allegedly assaulted her and threw a rock through the driver’s side window, shattering it, police said.
The woman received substantial bodily injuries from the broken shards of glass.
Police arrested the man Wednesday on suspicion of kidnapping, first-degree unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and first-degree criminal property damage.
