An Oct. 15 Washington Place reception served as a preview for Amy Hanaiali’i and Willie K’s appearance as guests of the Hawaii Pops, as the organization kicks off its new season. “This (album) is the first major project we’ve done in a while,” Hanaiali’i said. “We hadn’t worked together in 10 years.”
