A proposal would subject top OTS employees to the same policies as city workers.

TheBus will run on a normal weekday schedule on Tuesday, General Election Day, city officials said.

The city had previously issued a press release stating incorrectly that it’s Oahu-wide public buses would be running on a holiday schedule, officials said.

Tuesday is a state and city holiday. 

Refuse will be collected while landfills and transfer stations will be open. 

Parks, municipal golf courses, botanical gardens and the Honolulu Zoo will be open.

The Neal S. Blaisdell Center Box Office will be closed. So too will all satellite city halls, driver licensing offices and People’s Open Markets.

On-street parking will be free, except for meters on Kalakaua Avenue along Kapiolani Park. Metered parking is also not free.

Traffic lanes will not be coned for contraflow.
