Punahou defensive end Canton Kaumatule has orally committed to Oregon.
Kaumatule committed to the Ducks on Friday while visiting the campus, where Kaumatule enjoyed Oregon’s 45-16 win over Stanford.
His older brother, Luke, is a junior defensive end for Stanford. Former Baldwin star and current major league baseball player Shane Victorino was on the Oregon sideline during Kaumatule’s visit.
The 6-foot-7, 290-pound senior has been sidelined by injuries throughout his prep career, but is having a relatively healthy year for the No. 1-ranked Buffanblu.
