Hawaii defeats Cal State Northridge in volleyball

Nikki Taylor put down 15 kills and Olivia Magill added 12 as Hawaii defeated Cal State Northridge 25-16, 22-25, 25-23, 25-18 in a critical Big West volleyball match Saturday night at the Stan Sheriff Center.

Kalei Greeley added 11 kills and the Rainbow Wahine (17-6, 9-3 Big West) outblocked the Matadors 14-7. Kalei Adolpho was in on 10 of the blocks for Hawaii in the 2 hour match. 

Ceana Stinson led CSUN (14-8, 5-5) with 14 kills. 

The win kept the Wahine in second place in the Big West standings and kept alive their hopes for an at-large berth into the NCAA tournament.
