Police seek 2 men in Liliha shooting
Police are looking for two men in connection with a shooting at Puunui Park in Liliha on Friday evening.
The incident apparently arose out of an argument during a basketball game.
According to police, one man was asked to leave following the argument. That person later returned with the two suspects, one of whom threatened one victim and shot a second victim in the knee.
Both suspects then physically assaulted the first victim and another man before fleeing.
Police identified one of the suspects as a 27-year-old man. The other suspect is unknown.
Both are wanted on suspicion of attempted murder, second-degree assault and first-degree terroristic threatening.
Woman injured after car hits house
A 77-year-old woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition after a car crashed into her home while she was inside, according to police.
On Friday at 8:36 a.m., a 84-year-old man was entering the carport of his Lalamilo Street home in Moanalua when he accelerated and struck a wall that was attached to the laundry room. The woman was inside of the laundry room when the crash occurred and she sustained head and internal injuries, police said.
Speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors, police said.
