Body found floating in water at Hookipa Beach Park identified
A Maui man who died Thursday after lifeguards pulled him from the water at Hookipa Beach Park has been identified as Eric Strohsacker from Kihei, Maui police said.
Lifeguards found the 53-year-old man’s body floating face down in water about 11:15 a.m. and tried to revive him on the beach. He died at the hospital.
The cause of death as not been determined, Maui police said.
