FLORHAM PARK, N.J. » The New York Jets have placed wide receiver Greg Salas on season-ending injured reserve and signed wide receiver Chris Owusu from the practice squad.
Salas, a former University of Hawaii star, suffered what coach Rex Ryan called "a major hamstring injury" on his 20-yard end-around reverse for his first NFL touchdown in the first quarter of New York’s 16-13 loss to Miami last Monday night. Salas had eight catches for 167 yards in his second season with the Jets.
