Pedestrian injured by car in Waikiki
A woman in her 30s was seriously injured Tuesday when she was struck by a car in Waikiki, a spokeswoman for the Emergency Services Department said.
The pedestrian was taken by ambulance to the trauma center in serious condition, said spokeswoman Shayne Enright,
Police reported it as a critical accident.
Police closed Seaside Avenue between Aloha Drive and Ala Wai Boulevard shortly before 6:26 p.m. while officers investigated the accident, and reopened the roadway at about 8:41 p.m.
