» Kalbert Young has been appointed vice president for budget and finance and chief financial officer of the University of Hawaii system. A Page A21 headline and story Friday and a Page A14 "Off the News" item Monday said he was named chief operating officer.
» "The French House: An American Family, a Ruined Maison, and the Village That Restored Them All," by Don Wallace, was published by Sourcebooks. An item in "Page Turners" on Page F6 Sunday said it was self-published.
» Karl Kim is executive director of the University of Hawaii’s National Disaster Preparedness Training Center, a member of the National Domestic Preparedness Consortium. A Page B1 story Sunday said he is director of one of seven centers of the National Disaster Preparedness Consortium.
» Honsador Holding LLC has 15 locations in Hawaii and Portland, Ore. Its companies include Honsador Lumber, Alpha Electrical Supply Co., Honolulu Wood Treating, HWT Inc. and Honsador Truss. A Page B6 business brief Saturday reported Honsador had seven locations in the islands and gave an inaccurate list of companies.
