Police are investigating a report that a 36-year-old Kapolei woman, accompanied by two teenage girls, allegedly smashed the window of car and attacked a woman and another teenage girl Thursday morning.

The suspect was arrested at 9:50 a.m. at a Kapolei homeless shelter shortly after the incident was reported to police.

The 42-year-old victim was sitting in her car with a 16-year-old girl when the suspect, accompanied by two girls, ages 17 and 16, allegedly smashed the car window and assaulted the two females, police said. 

Police did not report the extent of the victims’ injuries.

The suspects were released pending investigation. The case has been classified as an unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle.
