Shooting leads to charge of attempted murder
A 26-year-old woman was charged Saturday with shooting a man earlier this week in Nanakuli.
Tiera Chevalier-Rodrigues, of Nanakuli, was charged with second-degree attempted murder and her bail was set at $100,000.
Police said the victim, a 38-year-old man, was shot about 9:15 p.m. Wednesday. Paramedics treated him at Kanahale Road and took him to a hospital in serious condition.
Chevalier-Rodrigues was arrested at the main police station Friday morning.
Makaha man accused of robbing store in Maili
A 46-year-old Makaha man has been charged with robbing a store Friday in Maili.
Felise Scanlan Jr. was charged Friday night with second-degree robbery. His bail was set at $20,000.
Police said Scanlan used force to take property from a store and struck the owner repeatedly before fleeing in a vehicle at about 11:30 a.m. Friday. Responding officers found and arrested him in the area a couple of hours later.
Suspect is arrested in stabbing of 2 men
Police arrested a 26-year-old man accused of stabbing two men during a confrontation Saturday morning in Kakaako.
The suspect was arrested about 11 a.m. on suspicion of second-degree attempted murder and second-degree assault.
The stabbing occurred about 5:20 a.m. on Kawaiahao Street near Cummins Street, according to an Emergency Medical Services report. Paramedics found a 29-year-old man with stab wounds to his chest and arms and a 26-year-old man with stab wounds to his leg, the report said.
Both men were transported to the hospital in serious condition.
Police said the suspect stabbed the victims during an argument. Officers did not recover a weapon.
