Human remains found on California beach
FORT BRAGG, Calif. » Authorities in Mendocino County say the body of an adult man has been found on a Fort Bragg beach.
The Santa Rosa Press Democrat reports a man walking his dog early Sunday morning on Noyo Beach discovered the body near the surf.
Sheriff’s officials say it appeared the man had been in the water for some time. He has yet to be identified.
The man is estimated to be between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet in height, weighing about 150 pounds. He has at least two tattoos.
The newspaper says he is the second man in 10 days to be found dead along the North Coast. The remains of an El Dorado County surfer were spotted Dec. 5 in the sea off Salt Point State Park in Sonoma County.
