2 children injured in swimming accidents
Two children were hospitalized following separate near-drowning incidents just 15 minutes apart on Sunday.
At about 3:45 p.m., Emergency Medical Services personnel were called to Ko Olina, where a 3-year-old boy was found unconscious in a swimming pool.
The boy was transported in critical condition to an area hospital.
At 4 p.m., paramedics received a call about a 7-year-old boy who had been pulled unconscious from the water off Sand Island Parkway.
The boy apparently been swimming in the area when he experienced difficulty, according to an EMS report.
Paramedics performed CPR, after which the boy resumed breathing on his own. He was transported to a hospital for further treatment.
Police seek man reported as missing
CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s help to find 53-year-old Parker Davis, who has been reported missing.
Davis was last seen on Wednesday at about noon at his home in Kaaawa.
He drove away in his 2014 blue Kia sedan that was later found parked near Windward Mall.
Davis is described as Caucasian, 6-feet-1, 155 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark blue T-shirt, aloha print shorts and gray tennis shoes.
Davis suffers from a medical condition that requires daily medication, according to CrimeStoppers.

Coast Guard rescues man off Kahoolawe
The Coast Guard rescued a man who spent several hours at sea on a disabled boat about 46 miles southwest of Kahoolawe on Saturday.
Around 10:15 a.m., the Coast Guard Sector Honolulu received a call from a friend of the vessel’s operator that his 19-foot boat was disabled. The mariner called his friend using his cellphone. His friend gave the Coast Guard an approximate location.
The boat was spotted at 7:06 p.m. after helicopter rescue crews noticed the man waving a flashlight.
The man and his passenger were safely rescued at 7:50 p.m.
Rescuers dealt with seas of more than 10 feet and 40 mph winds, according to the Coast Guard.
