Honolulu police are seeking the public’s help in finding a man who robbed the American Savings Bank Tuesday on Kapiolani Boulevard.

The man entered the bank at 1600 Kapiolani Blvd. at 9:59 a.m. and handed a demand note to a teller, then fled on foot in an unknown direction, according to a CrimeStoppers release.

The suspect was described as in his 50s, 5 foot 8, 150 pounds, with salt and pepper hair. He wore a tan jacket and green shirt and carried a black bag.
