Police arrest attempted murder suspect in Waianae
A 45-year-old Kapolei man is under investigation for attempted murder following a Christmas Eve assault on a 21-year-old man in Waianae.
According to police, the suspect assaulted the victim with a dangerous instrument, resulting in serious bodily injury.
The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. along Farrington Highway.
The suspect was arrested on suspicion of second-degree attempted murder as well as an outstanding warrant.
