Power restored to customers from Aina Haina to Pauoa
Multiple outages across Oahu affected a combined 10,000 customers in Aina Haina, Kalihi, Kailua, Kahuku, Pauoa, Makaha and Waianae.
Customers in Aina Haina and had their power restored at around 3:50 p.m. Tuesday, according to Hawaiian Electric spokesperson Donna Mun. The 2,500 customers affected in Kalihi had power restored shortly after.
At around 4:10 p.m. Kahuku experienced an outage that affected approximately 500 customers.
The 1,200 Pauoa customers had their power restored at around 4:30 p.m.
Another outage occurred in the Makaha and Waianae area at around 5:20 p.m. affecting about 2,400 customers.
At 6:50 p.m. all Kahuku customers also had their power restored. In the Makaha and Waianae area all but two customers had their power restored.
