Police blocked off lanes on Kamehameha Highway near Kahaluu after a water main break early Monday morning.
Honolulu police reopened Kamehameha Highway in Kahaluu at about 5:40 p.m. Traffic was rerouted around a water main break Monday morning.
Repairs to the 6-inch pipe, at 47-225 Kamehameha Highway, continued throughout the day.
Kahuku-bound traffic was being rerouted on Miomio Loop and Kaneohe-bound traffic was being rerouted at Luiu Street.
The break happened at about 5:12 a.m. Four homes were without water.
