A 61-year-old Lahaina woman was critically injured after being struck by a car Wednesday afternoon.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Hanawai and Napilihau streets in Lahaina when a car, driven by a 58-year-old Lahaina man, struck the woman who was crossing Hanawai Street in a marked crosswalk.
She was taken to a Maui hospital in critical condition.
