Police release 2 suspects in 2 incidents
Police have released suspects in two violent incidents this weekend, after prosecutors declined to pursue charges in the cases.
On Sunday police released without charges a 34-year-old man arrested in the stabbing death of his younger sister at her home in Wahiawa.
Also released without charges Sunday was a 27-year-old homeless man accused of beating a 51-year-old man Saturday on River Street in Chinatown. The man was last reported in critical condition.
