Officials investigating series of dumpster fires reported in Kakaako

Authorities are investigating five suspicious dumpster fires that were reported within an hour period and within a block early Monday morning in Kakaako.

The first dumpster fire was reported at 3:10 a.m. at 1066 Waimanu St. 

The other fires were reported on Kawaiaho street, the corner of Waimanu and Kamakee streets, 1236 Waimanu St and the corner of Piikoi and Hopaka streets. at 4:18 a.m.

There were no extensive property damage other than to the dumpster, fire official said. No injuries were reported.
