A 32-year-old man was charged Monday with allegedly assaulting a police office in Waianae while the suspect was being questioned during a domestic abuse investigation.

Raighne Kaaihue, who listed no address when he was arrested Saturday night, also was charged with resisting arrest.

Besides being charged with assaulting a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest, the suspect was charged with domestic abuse. His bail was set at $35,000. He was charged with the three offenses Monday night.
