Hawaii flag at Capitol replaced after subtle error found
The Hawaii flag flying at the state Capitol has been replaced after the governor’s office was informed there was a mistake on the previous one.
Earle Partington contacted the news station after noticing that the union jack on the flag was sewn upside down.
Bishop Museum Historian DeSoto Brown says it’s an error that would be difficult to notice.
KHON contacted the governor’s office Thursday about the error. The flag was then replaced with a correct one.
