A 49-year-old Mililani woman died Friday from injuries she suffered after being struck by a pickup truck while jogging on Meheula Parkway Thursday night, the medical examiner said.

The medical examiner identified the woman, as Shari Afuso.

Police said Afuso was jogging in a marked crosswalk when she was hit by a 2012 Chevrolet pickup truck, driven by a 72-year-old man, turning left onto Kuahelani Avenue from the southbound lanes of Meheula Parkway just after 7 p.m. Thursday.

Paramedics took Afuso in critical condition to the Queen’s Medical Center, where she died.
