Police ask for help in identifying Honolulu sex assault suspect

Honolulu police released a security camera image of a suspect in a Jan. 13 sex assault case on Fort Street Mall.

Police released security camera images and video of a suspect who allegedly followed and touched a woman inappropriately last month on the Fort Street Mall.

Police said the suspect approached a woman as she was walking on the mall at 11:25 a.m. on Jan. 13 and touched her inappropriately. He then followed the woman into the Aloha Pacific Federal Credit Union and touched her again, police said.

Anyone with information on the sex assault case is asked to call police at 529-3111 or CrimeStoppers at 955-8300 or *CRIME on a cellular phone. CrimeStoppers tips are anonymous.
