Man arrested in alleged tire iron assault
A 21-year-old Palolo man is in custody after he alleged hit another man on the head with a tire iron early Sunday morning in Kapahulu.
Police said two groups of men argued around 2:20 a.m. near a Kapahulu bar when the dispute escalated.
Officers arrested the suspect on suspicion of second-degree assault.
The police report did not include the nature of injuries to the victim.
