Kyler Tsukada pitched a three-hitter with 10 strikeouts and Makamae Kaleikini batted 3-for-4 with three RBIs as Moanalua beat Kaimuki 11-3 in the OIA Red East softball opener for both teams.
Tsukada helped her own cause by driving in two runs while going 2-for-4 at the plate. Battery-mate Kylie Kawelo also had two hits and two RBIs for Na Menehune.
