A 58-year-old Chinatown man was arrested Wednesday in the stabbing of a 53-year-old man on Maunakea Street.

The victim was seriously injured when he was stabbed after an argument escalated about 1 p.m., police said.

The suspect was arrested nearby on suspicion of second-degree murder, but he was later released pending investigation.
