Swimmer dies after being pulled from waters off North Shore
A 60-year-old male died Sunday after firefighters and lifeguards found him unconscious at a popular snorkeling spot Sunday on the North Shore.
Firefighters were dispatched to a call about a swimmer in distress at Three Tables Beach, near Sharks Cove, about 2:40 p.m.
According to Honolulu Fire Department, two males were picking opihi on the rocks between Waimea Bay and Three Tables Beach when the 60-year-old was washed into the water.
